Bedouin culture is generally more conservative and when we visit local communities, we will be received in an area of the house that is designed for both local and foreign visitors. Entering the house or kitchen area is generally restricted to local and foreign women and children. Not all desert trips include visits to local homes.

Yes. All waste is removed and natural areas are left undisturbed.

No. Natural items should not be removed from the environment.

Wildlife is observed from a respectful distance and never disturbed.

Desert wildlife may include birds, reptiles, insects, and small mammals, wolves, hyenas, and ibex.

Animals such as snakes or scorpions exist in the desert, but encounters are rare.
